Yvette dearest:
Boy I’m telling you that I’m really tired to-night [sic]. I worked until about eleven thirty last night and then got up and went to the range at four this morning and just got back an hour ago. And got to go out to morrow [sic] again. I feel a little better now because I had a letter waiting for me when I came in. Well darling I wish I
[Page 2]
was home now. I about worked a three day pass on the begining [sic] of my furlough like having the seventh on the furlough starting the 11th but that deal fell through. We had a little excitement out on the range to day [sic] a fellow was firing from my truck and it sliped [sic] out of his hand and he tried to fire through a half inch of armor plate but it didn’t work it backfired and gave him a few little scratches
[Page 3]
It scared him more than any thing [sic] else. Well darling we go out to morrow [sic] and fire at these radio control planes which ought to be a lot of fire but I[‘d] rather be starting home. I haven’t had any letter from the folks yet but you say that [W]arren wrote. I guess I’ll get it to morrow [sic]. I love you darling and I’m want to see you so much but I can’t. I love you and I hope every thing [sic] turns out for the best. I love you
