Hi Mummy,
I love you so much darling and I even miss you more. Well I’m back in camp again and I wish I had stayed with you. I got back about four thirty this morning and was I tired. Well I feel good now though the weather is very hot. The temperature is up around 100° and that[‘s] not cold. Darling I had a nice trip back. I met that G.I. that I was supposed to and when I got on the train I didn’t get

off again until the next afternoon and my connections were about perfect. I had a seat all the way too. Darling do you miss me as much as I miss you? I don’t know how I’m going to wait to see you but I always did have to. I hope this war don’t last to[o] long so I can be with you again. I didn’t know I was so short of writing paper until I got it out. [T]his is the last sheet and I’m going out to get some now but darling remember that I love you more than anything in the world. I love you. I love you. Your loving Husband
