Hello daring,
It’s me again and I’m still pealing [sic] from that sunburn I got at the beach but I don’t mind because it make[s] me think of you more and gee darling I miss you. Darling I am sending you a copy of the close “H” [?] allowance that you should get soon. Darling you’ll have to sign the checks the way they are made out on account of
[Page 2]
that was the name on the marriage certificate so that’s the way the checks will come. Well darling to-morrow [sic] morning we leave on a convoy for about two days and nobody seems to know just where we are going but I’ll write to you to morrow [sic] night when I get there. I haven’t had a letter for you yet and it seems so long and its [sic] only [M]onday. Darling there’s a woman on the radio singing (Kiss Me) and she sounds
[Page 3]
pretty good. Well darling I guess I’ll have to leave you tonight for I got to get my pack ready for to-morrow [sic] an[d] I got to drop my pop a few lines to tell him I got back o.k. So Mrs. Sarty write to your husband when you get time. Darling I love you so much and take care of your self [sic] and I’ll be back some day and we’ll have a nice little home of our own. I love you with all my heart. As Ever
