Dearest Yve.,
Well its [sic] me again and I’m just about the same only I miss you more all the time and I can’t wait until I get home. Well darling everything is fine over here and I can’t complain too much, althou [sic] I do get mad at everybody every once in a while and in a few hours everything [sic] back to normal again. I hope this damn war is over pretty soon so I can go home. To night [sic] I’m shacked up in a hotel but you never know how long a good thing like that can last. To morrow [sic] is sunday [sic] and we always do

something on sunday [sic] and its [sic] to [sic] late for them to change now. Darling I hope I get another one of those packages that you sent pretty soon. Darling its [sic] getting late now so I guess its [sic] time for me to go to bed the only part I don’t like [is that] your [sic] not here with me. I love you darling so very very much. As Ever,
