Hi [D]arling
How are you making out? You haven't heard from me lately because I’m in the hospital at the present. I’ve had a bad cold so that [is] what I get for catching a cold. Well [D]arling I still love you a lot and I hope its [sic] vice versa or something. You can still write to me and I get your letters because I won’t be here long. Use the same address as always except put 8th Armed Dev. Camp Campbell

[Page 2]

Ky. Tell my folks my new address for I don’t feel much like writing to-day [sic]. Gee they really are swell to me up here. I get all my meals in bed and everything. My temperature has gone down from 102.4 to 102 so I’m getting better. I [will] tell you all about it when I get more time. Well I got to close now so give my love to every body [sic] and I still love you. Love
Howard

P.S. I love you.
