Dearest Yve,
Its [sic] just me again darling and I do miss you a lot. I got a letter from you to day [sic] and in it I got all the news from the home town. Don’t worry darling we won’t end up by being separated because I love you too much for that. You remember Jim don’t you? Well he married the red-head and now he’s going to be a daddy. She already has a

daughter eight years old and Jim say [sic] she calls him daddy too. Well darling everybody had a big day and now they are all over the p.4. feeling pretty happy, getting drunk and me I just went to the show. Well now I’m up in one of the squared leaders [sic] room writing because the lights are off in the barracks. 15 minutes later. Well Tony came in and started talking again. He’s on e. q. to night [sic] and he’s running around like a guy with his head

cut off. Darling Aho just came in from the p.4. now feeling good and rising Hell. I hope he quiets down pretty soon. Gee darling. I don’t know what to write. I didn’t do much to day [sic] and I’m alright [illegible word] and feel pretty good except I’m lonely with out [sic] you. I got to go now darling because I got a big day ahead of me to morrow [sic]. I love you so very much and I want you and darling you don’t have to change. I love you just as you are. I love you. Love
