Dearest darling wife,
Well darling your mail is starting to catch up with me and tomorrow I’ll probably get one from you with my change of address on it. No darling I can’t tell you where I am but I’ll tell you this much. I’m somewhere in the eastern U.S. is that good enough? I got a letter from Barbara to-day and she said she would probably

have an addition to her family. Hows that for mass production. Yve. When I left for here I burned everything I didn’t need so I didn’t send anything home. I’m still o k darling and I wish this war was over but until it is I have to just go on wishing. I’m going to close now but I still love you very much. As Ever
