Dear Yve,
Well [D]arling here I am again, kind of tired but still going. I’m getting ready for a big inspection tomorrow and still quite a lot of work to do. I [am] writing you in my ten minute break so it won’t be very long. Last night I was out in the field so that [is] why you won’t get any letter[s] from me. Well [D]arling nothing new happened today except that I miss you more each day,

and it’s getting pretty bad. I’m all alone tonight. Ted has gone to see his girl friend [sic] and won’t be back for quite a while. Gee I wish that you were where I could go see you once in a while [sic] instead of every four or five months. Well [D]arling I got to close now because I got to finish getting ready for the inspection tomorrow. I love you very much and don’t every think that I don’t. I love you. As ever
