Sunday-nite [sic]
Dear Yvette,
Well darling here it is another week gone by and I still didn’t get that package that you sent about a month ago but don’t stop sending them because they’ll catch up with me some-time. To day [sic] I got my candy ration of four baro and they tasted good. It was the first candy I’ve had over here and don’t know when I’ll get any more so if you want an excuse to send a box send me anything thats [sic] eatable like candy or cookies and sendy pleanty [sic]. Darling in your letters you worry too much about me. I’m practicially living the life of a king. Its [sic] almost as good as living in the barracks

in the states, well almost as good anyway. We sleep on the second floor of the building and have a nice fire place in the room, so you see theres [sic] no need to worry. The food isn’t as good as back in the states but we’ll live. About your letters darling, there [sic] perfect in every way. Because you don’t hide anything. Well darling I’m kind of tired to night [sic] so I guess I’ll go to bed early. Keep writing now. I got that two in one letter so they come through pretty good. Good night darling and remember I love you more than ever. I love you. As Ever
