Monday-nite
Dearest Yvette,
Well darling I got a package from you and I’m wondering weather [sic] its [sic] the first one you sent or the second. It was all candy, mostly fudge which went swell but it didn’t last very long with eleven men in the room when I opened the box. If you send anymore send a bigger box (the limit) the next time. Well the days are going by as usual, no news or anything so theres [sic] not much to write about. Hows [sic] everybody at home? Mom wrote me a couple of V-mails but she didn’t say much. Has Norman shipped out yet? If he hasn’t I’d like to
[Page 2]
be in his place but I guess you can’t have everything. I guess I’ll have to steal or buy some writing paper because this is the last of the paper that your mother gave me. Well darling I guess I’ll close for to night [sic] so until the next time I love you more all the time and keep writing please and send all the eats you can. I love you. As Ever
