Hello darling,
Well here it is sunday [sic] again and I just got back from church. That shows I’m still a good boy. Every time it get [sic] around easter [sic] we always have bad weather and it [sic] the same around here to [sic]. There’s not much new around here but I smell another guard coming up tonight so I guess I’ll be on it. That [sic] the reason I’m writing now just in case. We just have a lot of fun in the army. Last night a buddy of mine cut my hair and didn’t do a very bad job of it either. By the way darling when are you going to send me some-thing [sic] to eat. I get hungry quite

often around here. This is not like the states when you could go to the service club or to town and get a steak, over here you go to town but don’t eat. If your [sic] lucky you get something to drink. I didn’t get any letters from you to day [sic] yet but of course the day is young. Well there isn’t much that a guy can write about without it being cut out so I’ll close now and drop a few lines home. I think I’ll write to Bill to [sic]. I love you darling and always will. As Ever
