Hello Tall Blonde and Beautiful
How’s my little gal to night [sic]? Well here it’s Sunday and a day off from duty so I’m going to start off right by writing you first. Darling you asked me to send you any old pen well its [sic] all short so I got you a new one and if I ever get to the post office I’ll mail it. Well the rainy season has hit Ky. so I guess we’ll either stay in the barracks or get wet. Gee darling nothing new happens down here so what can a guy write about. I’m going to the show

to-day [sic] to see The Uninvited some of the boys said it was good so I’ll go see for my self [sic]. Darling; How[‘]s everybody back home. I had a dream last night and in it I was with you and night in the middle of the dream I woke up then when I went back to sleep again I could seem to continue it. Darling I[‘]ll write you to morrow [sic]. I love you and gee darling when is this war going to end. As ever,
