Tuesday.
Dearest Mommy,
How’s my little darling to night [sic]. I love you and miss you so darn much and gee darling I want to go home. I got a nice letter from you today and Yve. I don’t think you could be crabby as you say in the letter. Yve you must be getting pleasingly plump not to be able to button your buttons but I think I’ll be able to reconize [sic] you when I get home. I love you so very much.
[Page 2]
Well darling nothing new has happened to-day. Tony Seragusa is going to get out next week and darling there’s no holding him any more he’s happy and I’m going to be very happy when I get mine which will be this year (I hope). Gee I love you so much and I want you so much that [sic] all I can think about. I want you darling so much. Good night darling and I wish I had you in my little bed to night [sic] but it can’t be so til tomorrow. I love you. As Ever.
Howard

P.S. I love you with your twelve point. If I had that twelve points I’d be home for Thanksgiving. I love you.
