Monday.
Dearest Yve.,
I love you more and more every day and I don’t think that you can change so that I wouldn’t love you. About taking that rating I just found out if I took it I would of been sent to another camp and would of been essential or something and I still hope to be home by december. I don’t care what your father says. Gee darling I want you so very much and I need you worse than

ever. I hope junior keep up and is a nice boy. I wish I was home right now but I do guess I’ll be home in time to have him kick me. They say that I’ll be home before christmas around here that’s why I won’t get a furlough. I hope there [sic] right because I can’t stay away from you much longer. Darling [illegible deletion] when you go to the doctor let me know what he says. I love you darling and gee I want you. In other words I would be disappointed if you didn’t weigh more than

a hundred when I get home. I love you so very very much. Well darling I guess I better close now but I’ll always love you two [sic] darling. As Ever.
