Monday
Yve. dearest,
I just got a nice letter from you and I feel swell don’t worry darling I wouldn’t go out with anybody else because it wouldn’t be any fun. Besides I love you and I don’t want anybody but you. I see in your letter you got your fingers x and your arms and tres x but you didn’t say anything about you having your legs crossed. I [sic] would be kind of hard to walk with your legs crossed so I’ll let you go this
[Page 2]
time but as long as your fingers are crossed and I get home for christmas. I love you so very much. I hope Rita + Don don’t have any trouble over the black look but I’m not going to worry about them. I’ve got enough with you worrying about you working too hard. I wish you wouldn’t because I don’t like it. When I get home your [sic] not going to work all the while I spend in the house that will give you all after noon if you want to work but no nights.
[Page 3]
No kidding darling, I think your [sic] working too hard. Gee darling I love you so darn much and I want you close to me always. I miss you more every night and sometime[s] worse than that. I love you darling and all that you’ve got that includes 50:50 and all the fixings. I love you so very much and I feel awful musky to-night. As Ever.
Howard
