Yvette dearest;

This is your old Prince Charming again saying how much he loves you and I do love you darling and another thing I can’t help it if I’m color blind. I guess you have to put up with it because I can’t tell colors and I guess I’m kind of old to learn. About you giving me piano lessons well you know how much I love to play but with you teaching me I think it would take a lifetime. When your [sic] around I just can’t seem to keep my

mind on the music. Now darling I’m not saying you’r[e] not a good teacher because you are and you can’t blame the pupill because he’s in love with the teacher and that don’t work out. Gee darling I love you so very much and guess what darling I might have a chance to get a furlough in about a couple of months. No kidding they are likely to lock you up in the guard house if you mention furlough around here just now so I’m keeping quiet. Well darling its [sic] been a quiet day around here and I got to say good night now but I love you and in my dreams you seem so real that when I wake up I get lonesome because your [sic] not here. I love you so much. As Ever
