Dearest Yve.,
Well it just your old husband again and I still want to go home as much as ever. I want to be home with you and nothing else matters. In other words I love you like everything. Darling I’ve got some good news and I hope it true. They say all the men from 50 to 59 points will ship [illegible deletion] to there [sic] closest reception centers and that means I’ll go to Fort Devens by the first of December. If that’s true you’ll have to come and see me until I get out which won’t be too long after I get there and it will be before christmas

[Page 2]

Gee darling I love you so very very much and I can’t stand this being away from you for very much longer. I got another letter from you to-day and in it was the one maxine wrote. I hope Ray gets out soon and then she can be happy too. I think I’ll beat him out though. You know darling I never miss anything worse in my life than I miss being away from you. I love you love you love you so very much darling and I always will. I got to go now so goodnight for now my sweet and I’ll be sure to have a nice dream of you. Goodnight my darling. I love you. As Ever.

Howard
