Darling Yve,
I only got one letter from you in 15 days in the army. [S]o I[‘d] like to hear from you again. [T]he letter you did send me I keep reading it over and over again. [Y]ou don’t know I good I feel when I finish reading that letter. How are you getting along with your organ lesson’s [sic] now I wish you would let me know. Yve, I miss you do you still love me[?] [T]here I go again. do I love you more every day and I miss you twice as much. [W]hen are you going to send to to send me something to eat I get hungry between meals. I’m only kidding, don’t send any thing [sic] if you don’t want to but I do like to get mail. I hope I don’t bore you with all my trouble. I think I am going to want you more and more as time goes on. I hope the war don’t [sic] last to [sic] long. I still love you I love you I love you. [W]ell its [sic] getting dark now so I will have to close. Love
