Darling Yve,
I am getting auful [sic] home sick. Every time I get a letter from you I feel more sick but I feel bad if I don’t get one. Well we got speaches [sic] every other day on the war from capatin captains that’s got the real dope. Well darling I hope you feel allwrite [sic] now but I got a little mad when you said you went to the dance. [B]ut of course I want you to go. I only wish I was with you. Do you still

love you me darling[?] I love you anyway. They keep telling us down here that it won’t be long before we go across the water but I think there [sic] wrong I hope so anyways. [W]ell darling about 40 guys left for other camps to-day [sic]. I wish I was going and with them. I am sending you about two more pictures of me and see what you think of them. [L]et me know any how [sic]. I am writing this letter with about 8 fellows talking to me and don’t blame me if I make mistakes. [W]ell thats [sic] about all
