Hi Little One
Well here it is another day closer to being married and I love you more everyday. I was in school to night [sic] until 8:50 then I went to the chapel but I was kind of late for my seven-thirty appointment and when I got there the caplain was saying mass so I couldn’t very off had my appointment. The P.F.C. in the office said to come to morrow [sic] night. That form that Father Silbrain [?] was supposed to sent the chaplain hasn’t arrived as

yet and if it don’t come the chaplain said he was going to send for it. He says he [was] going to get me married yet, anyway I hope so. Well darling I’m going to write a letter to your father to-night [sic] but the best way for me to write him will be to forget all the letters you wrote for me to copy. I love you darling but this letter will have to be written in my own way. Darling I think you’ll make a beautiful bride and I can hardly wait to see you. By the way I[‘m] going to try to go to the hospital [W]ednesday to have a blood test. I haven’t had one in about two years and so I guess I can

stand a little needle. Last time they tested my blood I sat there and watched him I guess I’m still alright though because I’ve been a very good boy. I love you darling and I want you more than anything in the world. Good-night [sic] darling and keep loving me. As Ever
Howard

P.S. If your father can’t read his letter read it to him will you? I know my hand writing’s not so good. I love you.
