I just got some news that I might be able to go home the last of Aug. but not be fore [sic]. [I]f I can I think I'm going to take a plane home to get there faster. The Sarg top kick had his little girl down at

the barrack and I had just finish [sic] reading your letter. See darling I love you so much that I don't think I can wait much longer. I love you love you and still love you more darling and please don't stop loving me because I might go and do something that I wouldn't want to and I know that you wouldn't want me to do it either. Darling I have been a very good boy and I haveānt [sic] even had a glass of beer yet and don't intend on having any as long as you love me. I got to go now because I got to see if I'm on the list
