Hello Darling:
Well its [sic] about time I wrote don’t you think or do you. Well for the past three days we’ve been on night problems and didn’t get back to camp until about two o’clock in the morning and from sic in the morning until two the next have been kind of long days and not much time to write, but I

guess last night was the last time for a while so I hope so any way [sic]. Last night was a bad night we started out while it was raining and it ended up snowing so that mean[s] winters [sic] coming. Darling you asked me what I want for my birthday and I’m going to tell you. Darling I want (YOU) and that’s all. Gee darling [sic] I want you so much that its [sic] terrible. Darling do you know its [sic] been over two months since we

went to the [illegible words] dancing and gee I wish I was there with you to-night [sic]. Well darling I’m going to close to-night [sic] so good night Yve I love you and I’ll be sure to write you to-morrow [sic] morning: it[s] getting late and I’m so [illegible deletion] sleepy that I can’t see straight but I can dream of you anyway. I love you very much and good-night [sic] again. Love
