Dear Yve.,
Well here I am again and still in the army. I got that very nice letter from you telling me about the new stove you bought and I think I got a smart little wife even if I do say so myself. If the stove is what you say it is it [sic] a very good buy. I hope you do that well with every-thing [sic] then when I get there I won’t have a thing to do. See this nice paper I’m writing on to-day [sic], well it all they have over here at Bn supply office and thats [sic] what
[Page 2]
I’m doing to-day [sic] which is practicly [sic] nothing. I’m just putting in time. I’ve got to the stage where I won’t do any more work that kind of tells you what a mood I’m in at the present. I think I’ll go to the show to-night [sic] for a change and then get a good night sleep. An officer just came in and asked me what I was supposed to be doing and I said nothing. He told me to tell him how to get a good job like the one I have but I told him I couldn’t. Gee darling I’m so lonely without you I don’t know what to do any more [sic]. I wish I was home so I could see you again
[Page 3]
Gee I love you so very much and I can’t wait until I get the little peice [sic] of paper in my hand again saying I’m free. I want you so very much and I want to be with my wife and daughter. I love you very much and more. As Ever.
Howard

P.S. I love you most and more that that too.
