Fish-day
Dear Yve.,
Well here it is the last day of november and I’m still in the army. I had a little difficulty this morning darling I sprained my ankle and now its [sic] almost as big as your tummy if I do say so myself. I went to the hospital and had [illegible deletion] xrays taken and it was nothing but a sprain and the doc straped [sic] it up and I got five days of bunk fatigue so I ought to be alright then. I going to get my walking papers from out here and I pretty sure of being home before christmas. I’m ok though darling but it kind of hard to keep off my feet. How are you darling? I didn’t get any mail to day [sic] but this is friday and I never get any on
[Page 2]
friday so I wasn’t too disapointed [sic] so much. They are going to discharge the 54 point men starting monday so it ought not be long before they get to the 51 points that I have so I still have hopes. Gee darling I hope you and I get to live together pretty soon. I want to see you so very much and gee its [sic] not fair to keep us apart like this. I guess I’ll feel kind of lonesome and don’t know what to do with my self [sic] anymore. I love you so darn much and all I want is to get back to you + ? and the apartment [sic] and [illegible deletion] live like a human again. I love you so very much darling and I promise I always will. As Ever
Howard
