My little Wife,
I love you, I love you, I love you. Thats [sic] the way I feel to day [sic] and I mean every word of it. Its [sic] Sunday again and it seems I miss you more on sunday than any other time, but of course I miss you all the time. I got a letter from you to day [sic] and you said in it that you received the check and I’m glad because I was beginning to wonder if they were going to forget us. Well darling I’m going swimming this after noon [sic] and it will
[Page 2]
be the first time since I came back from furlough. You see they got a pool on the post and our company has it for this afternoon. Yve that show Home in Indiana is a very good picture. I saw it right after I got back and I liked it very much it’s too bad you couldn’t see it. I got a letter from Barb and of course I sent her a card for her birthday but I still want to know what you want for your birthday? Darling I’d just love to be at camp with you on these weekend parties and then we could stay as along as we like and we wouldn’t have to say good night at or before twelve o’clock we could be to gether [sic] all night. Gee I love you so much
[Page 3]
and after this war is over we’ll throw a big party and we’ll make it last all night. I love you my little wife and mummy can’t you make this war end? I’m getting so tired of this hill billy country down here and do you know I haven’t been to town since I got back except to go on that trip to Indianapolis I guess thats [sic] the way you spell it. Well mummy I [have] got to answer Barb’s letter so I’ll close now and write some more later I love you so much. Your loving husband,
Howard
