Dearest darling Yve.,
I haven’t much time so will only drop a few lines. The mail situation is pretty bad around here but thats [sic] to be expected so if you don’t hear from me for a few days don’t worry because I’ll be OK. You’ve been [illegible deletion] asking me where I am for a long time and now see if you can figure this out. Just take the one off the day we got married and look it up on the map. If they don’t [illegible] this [illegible] it’ll be about as close as I can tell you as my where abouts [sic]. Well Hows [sic] the happy little home and
[Page 2]
how are you darling? I wish I was home right now. Its [sic] not that I don’t like the country but it [sic] just the idea of being here. I got to close now so if you don’t here [sic] remember no news is good news. I love you so much darling and I wish I was at Ocean beach [sic] too at least I could keep warm. I love you darling. As ever,
Howard
