Hi darling,
I didn’t get any letter yesterday and I didn’t write either. We went out in the field Tuesday morning and didn’t get back until to-night [sic] that’s why I didn’t write. I got a nice letter to night [sic] though and it made me feel good. Darling it was just three months ago today at 9:00 o’clock [sic] that we got married remember. I couldn’t read and we had quite a time then my pajamas well you can put it all together. I miss you so darn much that it’s awful. Well darling I guess you can forget about the furlough for the first of Oct. because we [have] got to

be all packed and ready to move by the 7th. I don’t know where we’ll go yet but I guess its [sic] an other [sic] camp. I hope its [sic] nearer home but you never can tell. We’ll probably get our furlough after we move. I [have] got to do a little house cleaning before we move but I [have] got quite a little time yet. I’ll let you know how things turn out. Darling I wish I was home and this war was over, but I guess it won’t be too long. I’m going to bed and sleep a little more to night. [sic] I love you darling and don’t work too hard I don’t want you to over do it. Good night darling and remember I love you. Your loving husband,
Howard
