Hello Half pint,
Well I’m really tired to night. [sic] I’ve been in the field all day and to-night [sic] I’m all packed and ready for that month in the field. We leave in the morning and we come back here around the 22nd of Oct. we’ll probably do all [of] our manuvering [sic] down in Tenn. in the old manuver [sic] area but I hear that after that their [sic] going to give furlough again so that is good. I might be able to be home around my birthday. Gee darling do you

[Page 2]
