Dear Yve,
Well here it is Thursday and it [sic] raining like ____. We didn’t do much to-day [sic] but sleep although I wish we we’re [sic] back in camp. We leave to morrow [sic] morning for some new area around Nashville so I guess this will be the last letter until I get settled down there. Darling I got a nice long letter from you to day [sic] and a package from my Mom and we had a feed. Right now the whole bunch of us are in my half track and telling dirty stories and is

my face red. Tony Siragusa just opened the door of the track and he’s talking like he’s never talked before. He’s standing out in the rain all wet and you might think he was crazy. He’s trying to get us to go out in the rain and play with him and get all wet, but I guess I’ll just stay in the track. Darling I just got news to when we move in the morning. We get up at 3:30 and leave at five so you can see if I want to get any sleep I got to go to sleep now. Darling I love you so darn much and I hope to see you soon. I [have] got to go now but I’ll write to-morrow. I love you darling. Love,
Howard
