Feb. 15, 1944 2:30 P.M. Hello darling: Well the weather is a little better to day [sic] but yesterday we had quite a snow storm [sic] and this morning when I got up I had to shake the snow off my blankets but its [sic] nice and sunny now althou [sic] its [sic] still cold. I think I get used of this life after a while. The boys will play, they are having a snow fight now and I don’t know who’s winning. Well honey how are you? I wish I could see you but [page 2] of course that won’t be asking so very much though and I hope that this war ends sooon [sic] for I want to get married and to be with you all the time. Darling will you marry me? Well darling I got to go now so will write soon. I love you with all my heart. As Ever Howard [the following is included as a postscript] I love you
