Hello darling,
I love you, I love you, I love you, now I got that said do you still love me and if you do keep on because I love you. This letter is going to sound kind of crazy to you, but don’t mind it because I feel kind of crazy myself to-night [sic]. There’s a beautiful moon out and its [sic] just like summer and gee I wish you were here with me although the ground is kind of hard. Well darling nothing knew [sic] has happened to-day [sic] nothing ever seem to happen to me anyway. I guess that
[page 2]
were coming back to camp to morrow [sic] and quit living in the feild [sic] for a while I hope so anyway. Darling, hows [sic] every body [sic] back home? I wish I could be back there. Everytime I leave you the time seem to be longer I guess its [sic] because I love you so much. Well darling I got to go now but there [sic] one question I like you to answer [illegible deletion]. Will you still marry me? I love you darling. As Ever
