Hi Honey
Well here I am again. Yesterday I had K.P. and about five o’clock last night they told us that Thanksgiving would be a regular work day nwo ain’t [sic] that something. Here I planned to go and have a good dinner and I got to work all day and I can’t leave camp just because the General says that there will be no holidays for the Armed Forces. So I called up those people and told them to expect

to dinner. The only holiday we get is two hours off for dinner. I guess I can’t kick because some of my friends are over in Ireland and I don’t think they are having such a good [T]hanksgiving. Darling I love you all and even if I don’t have a holiday I think of you. I wonder how my brother got home on furlough every two weeks.. I wish I could do it. I haven’t had a letter from home for about 10 days and I’m wondering what is happening. The picture I had taken didn’t come out I think I broke the

camera. I haven’t asked about your sister Pauline for a long time. How is her romance with Norman coming out of or don’t you know and how’s ours [sic] coming out? I went to the show Monday and say (Laugh [Y]our Blues [A]way) and it was pretty good but I’ve seen better. Well [D]arling I might be home and see you before New Years but if I get home any [illegible deletion] sooner I bet you know until then. I love you.
