Hello my Darling
Well darling I got back to camp all in one piece but a little tired. I didn’t write you on the trip because all the trains were quite late and I’d just get off one and on another and it was four o’clock when I got to the barracks. I just got to sleep and they woke me up again. You know darling its [sic] a good thing that I shouldn’t have to do any

thing to day [sic] because I don’t think it would of been done. Well darling when I get to Albany N.Y. I read that letter you wrote and I think it was wonderful and I love you so much. I missed you so much all the way down and now I wish I was home. As I said before we didn’t do anything to day [sic]. I raw Cay and he look [sic] pretty good for being home on a furlough as for Jack he won’t

be back for another week. They got a new thing added on our training which means an hours of sports every day such as football or baseball or something. Never a dull moment in the army you know. Next week I think its [sic] going to be a bivouac but their minds change like the weather so you never can tell. It was a beautiful day to day [sic] nice and warm just the kind of weather you would like.
[Page 4]
Gee darling I wish you were here. I love you so much darling but I got to go now so take care of yourself and give [illegible word] some of the [illegible word] darling. I love you and all the fixings. As Ever
