Dear Love,
Well darling I got another nice letter from you today and I love you very much. Yesterday I told you about Jim White well today I’ve got some more dirt which is a little dirtier than yesterday [sic]. It seems as though this guy Carl Jansen got drunk one night and got married to some random woman in clarksville [sic]. That wouldn’t of been so bad but he already has a wife [illegible word] in Minn., so now the boys keep asking
[Page 2]
him how his wife [sic] and he says which one? The one from the north or the one from the south. [sic] He doesn’t like the gal and she [sic] been up to the camp hunting for him. I don’t know how he’ll make out. Well darling Ray and I went to the show last night and saw Doughgirls which we thought was very good and you should see. It’s very cold and to day [sic] I think it might snow although I hope
[Page 3]
not because we will have to go on [illegible word] next week and it’s bad enough when its [sic] just cold. The guy that I was telling you about that belongs to the lone ranger club well he’s back again. Siragusa is still complaining. Well I guess thats [sic] about all the news from around here. Darling I love you so very much and I wish I could be home
[Page 4]
all the time instead of just once in awhile. I know you want to come down darling but right now I wouldn’t be able to see you hardly at all. I love you and goodnight now darling and I’ll write tomorrow. I love you with all the fixings and I love you more than every. Your loving husband
Howard
