at night
Hi Beautiful,
Its [sic] me again and I’m not drunk either. I’m just kind of lonely to night [sic] because I didn’t get a letter today but I don’t blame you for it, it’s because of Sunday and mail probably didn’t get out. I got off of ground at noon to-day and was suppose to have the afternoon off but then I was told I had to go on a parade because this camp is four years old to day [sic]. I didn’t like it one bit but those are the kind of things that look good in the camps paper. I’m sitting here in the barracks watching a guy pack his stuff to go home on a discharge and I’m glad
[Page 2]
for him but darling I want one also. I want to go home so much that I’d go awol if it’d do any good but I know it won’t so that’s why I’m still here. Gee darling getting no where [sic]. I love you so very much and I must say goodnight until tomorrow when I get a letter from you. I love you. As Ever.
