Dearest darling Yve,
Well here I am again and still griping [sic], Oh what I would give for a discharge. Darling I’m really getting sick of this army life because of one reason and thats [sic] because I’ve got to be separated from you. Well darling it stoped [sic] raining now and is quite cold but outside of that everything is the same. I love you and miss you more than everything in the world.

I spent all night [illegible word] out my form 32’s (thats [sic] the clothing list) and I’ve [sic] haven’t had time for anything else. I went to the dentist this morning and every [word cut off page] is o k so they sent me back to the company. I sent the package home with the excess which was mostly dirty clothes and stuff. Gee darling I wonder if this war will ever end. Its [sic] getting so you don’t know what to do anymore. Theres [sic] one thing I do know darling

it isn’t right for us to be a part. I love you so much darling. I haven’t even written to Jack yet and I should but [sic] haven’t had time. Some people have all the luck huh daring! well anyway I’m not a 4f. [illegible word] I’m writing you might think I’m fed up with the army. Its [sic] not that at all it [sic] just because I can’t see you. Its [sic] a good thing that your [sic] not here because I wouldn’t of been able to go to town even

one night since I’ve been back and it looks like it’ll be a long time before I do go. Well darling I love you so much that all I can write say and think about. I love you so much darling. Take care of yourself and I’ll see you soon I hope. I love you. As Ever
