Hello Darling,
Well its [sic] just me again and just back from a hard day at work and I mean work. I don’t know when I’ll go back again to that jail because I don’t know when I get my next pass but the work make [sic] the days go fast and it keeps me out of a lot of trouble. Don’t worry darling I wouldn’t get into trouble anyway. I love you too much to get into trouble and gee darling I want you so to night [sic]. I guess I’ll [illegible] just clean
[Page 2]
up and take myself to a show. I just took a nice shower and feel pretty good. Gee darling I want to be near you and why do they keep me in the army. I’m no good to the army anymore but I guess they will keep me a while longer. I leave now darling but I’ll write more longer tomorrow. I love you darling and gee I want you honest. As Ever.
Howard
