Originally, the college rented this structure in 1991 to house Cobber Kids Corner. Cobber Kids Corner had previously operated under the name Babygroup, Inc. and was located in an apartment in the International Living Center from 1990 to 1991. In the spring semester of 1999, the Development Office moved to the Cobber Kids Building and the structure was renamed the Development Center/Cobber Kids Corner. Cobber Kids Corner moved to Concordia Riverside in the fall of 2005 after which the Development Center was renovated. The building was renamed the Advancement Center in 2008.
