Olson Forum
The Olson Forum and Offutt Concourse were added to the east side of Memorial Auditorium in 1994. Named for donors Earl and Dorothy Olson and Ronald and Karen Offutt, the $5.9 million facility is a sports and fitness center with four classrooms. A cardio balcony was added on the east end of the building in 2002. The Offutt Concourse connects Memorial Auditorium to Olson Forum and contains classrooms as well as an event box office. The Birkeland Lounge, also located in Offutt Concourse, is named in memory of David Birkeland and is used for formal meetings, receptions, and news conferences.
