Hoyum Hall
On April 27th, 1964, ground was broken for New Hall. Completed in 1965, the women’s dormitory was later named Hoyum Hall in honor of Jacob Hoyum, a Montana farmer who partially funded the $825,000 project. Mr. Hoyum dedicated the building to the memory of his wife and son as well as his parents. Hoyum Hall remained a women’s dorm until 2009 when it became co-ed.
